dc.description.abstract | Basic notions of epidemiology are necessary to ana-
lyze and define adequate prevention and containment
measures at individual, regional and global levels
during the COVID-19 pandemic. This article reviews
the steps for a systematic approach to epidemic situa-
tions with detail of the minimum epidemiological pa-
rameters for this. It also offers an overview of the mul-
tiple edges presented by a health crisis situation, the
tools available and the questions that remain open. | en_US |
